Description

Strategically Stand-out in Your Niche

Avoid inadvertently delivering a B-grade version of your A-grade self to the screen. You want your audience to watch your video and be compelled to take the desired actions, don’t you? Well, you won’t get great results if you deliver a bland, unimaginative, “cookie-cutter” video presentation. You know the kind; generic messaging that no one remembers, unconvincing presenter, amateur editing, and production. Let’s face it, an awkward, uncompelling “me too” video appeals to no one.

Rather, you want your video presentation to enhance your brand. You want to stand out from the crowd and position yourself as superior to your competition. You want to generate new business, be memorable, and get recommended. You want compelling videos that inspire your target audience to act.

During your one-on-one you can choose from any of the following:

Your winning strategy
Get laser-focused on what you want and why. Bianca will show you the most effective way to use video to achieve your goals (and avoid common mistakes that can detract from your brand)

Attract your perfect target audience
Identify the type of person who is the best match for your offer. Get Bianca’s insider secrets on how to customize your video format and filming set up to appeal specifically to people like them

Be the thought leader in your space
Differentiate yourself from the competition. The audience will understand your unique value and the benefits you want to be known for. They’ll choose your brand over the competition

The perils of the “copycat” approach
Your favorite presenter with a million followers does things a certain way. Learn why their approach could be invalid or even completely wrong for you and your target audience

Why “being authentic” and “good enough” is not good enough
Don’t be fooled. The marketplace does not pay top dollar for average. Would you? Effective video requires you to present the best version of yourself. That is, if you want to maximize the results you get from your audience

Create ongoing video content to support your goals
How to easily and quickly create ongoing video content, without chewing up your valuable time. The perfect content strategy if you don’t have a team of creatives behind you.

★ Define Yourself Before They Define You

1st impressions are crucial. Within seconds, your viewers have judged your income, level of education, and even your level of success.

“Within 30 seconds (assuming you are compelling and engaging enough for them to be still watching) they’ve also judged your level of intelligence, honesty, competence, friendliness, and confidence. Once they’ve formed this 1st impression, you are stuck with it”

How do you want to be perceived by your target audience? What do you want people to see, hear, and feel when they discover you for the first time? That is the “anchor” by which they will judge every subsequent exposure to you. You want them to perceive you as the go-to thought leader in your space, right? You must not leave this to chance. Rather you must clearly position your thought leadership by design.

Like it or not, your viewer will make favorable or unfavorable instantaneous decisions about you. In order to optimize your 1st impression, you must focus on 3 core areas: your appearance, your voice, and how you physically express yourself within the confines of the camera frame.

Anything short of the mark will lower the 1st impressions your audience has about you as a person, your professionalism, and your offerings. Whether it is your presentation itself or the video production quality, anything that is perceived by your viewers as inferior is more likely to be judged harshly.

Sure, your current customers and raving fans already love you. They know what you stand for, and may even forgive you for a less than stellar video viewing experience. But what about someone who discovers your video outside of your web platform, or out of context, and is seeing you onscreen for the first time?

Baseball legend Joe DiMaggio said,

“There is always some kid who may be seeing me for the first time, and I owe him my best.”

We agree. You owe it to your audience to bring “your best self” to the screen at all times.

Bianca will help you create a winning 1st impression with your audience. She’ll help you avoid the landmines and show you how to refine your material before you release it to the marketplace.

In your one-on-one we can work together on any of the following:

Create a strong 1st impression
Like it or not, people will judge you. Within seconds the viewer will form judgments about the credibility and trustworthiness of you as a person, and by association your services and products. Create a positive 1st impression that captivates your target audience and increases your credibility right from the get-go

Avoid the emperor's new clothes trap
Even those at the top of their game don’t know what they don’t know. Business leaders, VIPs, and thought leaders (anyone in a position of power) often find themselves surrounded by “yes people” who tell them what they want to hear

If you write the paychecks, it’s highly unlikely that internal staff or external film crews will say what they honestly think about your video presentation. Most people don’t have the expertise to know what to look for on-screen, let alone articulate the issue or troubleshoot the situation. Bianca will help you see and overcome your blind spots

Design your unique formula for success
We’ll create a best-practice messaging and filming setup that you can use for all future video presentations to maximize your impact and build a powerful and distinctive personal brand that resonates with your target audience

Avoid the public speaker’s blind spot
You might be great on stage in front of a live audience, but presenting on video requires a modified approach, a fact that very few people are aware of.  Many “big name” speakers aren’t aware of how their stage persona undermines their video presentations. Bianca helps well-known public speakers to adapt their presentations for the camera and avoid the common stage vs. screen pitfalls

See yourself objectively
Leverage Bianca’s 20+ years of experience to shine a spotlight on your areas for improvement. In a caring, supportive way, Bianca will help you see yourself objectively, and coach you how to optimize your physical appearance and modify your presentation for on-screen delivery

Sidestep the “done is better than perfect” fallacy
Gurus who spout these platitudes don’t care about your professional reputation – it’s not them fronting your work it is it? You might ship a “minimum viable product” (MVP) when launching a new company, webpage, or software product and then iron out the bugs based on user feedback. However, your video presentation should not be an MVP. You need to present your “best self” on-screen at all times. Especially if you want to make sales and form a positive 1st impression that lasts.

Create High Quality, Timeless Videos, That Keep Delivering

A common mistake is to jump on the bandwagon and blindly follow the latest tactics of some self-appointed video marketing guru. Remember, the business model of many people in the marketing world is similar to the fashion industry, with the goal of getting you to change what you do every season.

Gurus promise salvation by using manipulative tactics to keep you insecure about what you are doing, and always chasing the “new thing.” That’s how their model works. Don’t believe the hype!

Understand that the fashionable, popular video trend today will be relegated to yesterday’s news tomorrow. Also, trying to “game” the search algorithms of Google, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook etc is an exercise in futility. At a stroke, these large software platforms can change their algorithms and condemn your videos to oblivion.

Get off the fashion hamster wheel and create timeless, evergreen video content. Quality videos that promote you and your expertise in a positive light today, and in the months and years to come. Videos that continue to add value to your audience over the long-term.

You can pick from any of the following during your session:

It's not about high-tech gear
No amount of high-tech filming equipment, studio gear, or video editing wizardly can fix a poor on-screen presence and delivery. The foundation for a good quality video presentation is the quality of your planning and preparation before the record button is pushed. Get behind the scenes production techniques to enhance your video creation process efforts

Plan to succeed with OLPP

Learn the key steps you need to take before the record button is pushed. Capture quality filming footage that can be turned into the finished high converting product

Create the appearance of quality
Discover film production techniques that create a high-quality look and feel, without needing all the bells and whistles or expensive film gear and tech

Ditch the guesswork. We’ll create your winning formula
A personalized production framework and filming techniques that are designed specifically to appeal to your target audience that you use every time you create a new video. This formula will provide structure and consistency, whilst freeing you up to be creative with your content. A signature formula that will help you craft a series of videos that you’ll be proud to share every single time

Master “live-action” video shoots with LAPP
Use Bianca’s step-by-step, Live Action Production Process (LAPP). A best-practice process to use when you are filming live-action of yourself

Short attention spans dominate
When you have limited time and only a few short seconds to get your message across you’ll learn how to create attention-grabbing, eye-catching signature videos that are unique to your brand, so that you quickly engage and captivate your viewer

Be self-reliant with video editing
Don’t be dependent on someone else’s schedule or their outsourcing of your content. Filming or editing your video should not be a frustrating bottleneck, waiting for someone else to be available. Discover how you can speed up your video creation projects with Bianca’s “In the Cut” step-by-step video editing creative

Learn key principles for fast, precise, video editing that looks like it was done by a professional. You don’t need to be an expert. We make it easy

You are empowered to control your entire process. Spotted a mistake? Need to update a product image? Update pricing? Within seconds you can make changes to your video with Bianca’s quick-fix strategies. This way you avoid being on someone else’s schedule to get changes made. Don’t want to do your own editing? That’s Ok. Bianca can do it for you (see Bianca’s other service offerings)

Don’t fall victim to “amateur” editing techniques
Many people copy techniques they see others using, but don’t realize you can inadvertently copy bad examples that weaken your credibility. Some editing styles may not appeal to your customer demographic

Research has shown that some editing styles can even impede the viewer comprehension of your message. Create your own smooth, classic, signature, editing style that showcases you in the best light. A style that does not violate traditional stylistic principles and enhances your authority and credibility

Never get stuck or overwhelmed with your tech again
There is nothing more frustrating than having to deal with technical bugbears during your creative process. Get access to Bianca’s proven workarounds, for quick fixes to your video creation and production needs

Master Your On-camera Presence and Charisma

CEOs often come to Bianca because they feel like the proverbial emperor wearing no clothes. No one has the courage to tell them their on-camera presence is somewhat well..underwhelming. Because these business leaders are in positions of power, they’re often surrounded by “yes people” who rely on them for a paycheck. When the person paying you asks, “Do I look OK?”, they are unlikely to receive honest, objective feedback about their on-camera performance from their staff, or the film production crew.

Unfortunately, these people also lack the expertise to know what to look for from a technical performance perspective let alone articulate it. As such, they cannot offer actionable performance feedback that pulls the very best out of the presenter (or boss). Instead, they’ll say something supportive, “Yes, you look great”. The finished result is often anything but.

“You had me at BEFORE Hello”

In today’s information-overloaded society people take cognitive shortcuts to make snap decisions about what they see on screen. Your goal is to have your target audience instantly get a gist of who you are. They will quickly judge whether you seem honest, and make assessments about your subject matter credibility. You need to quickly demonstrate that you have their best intentions at heart.

Advertising agencies cast people who look just like the intended target user for the product or service so customers who identify with the actors or models in appearance, social status, and background will be influenced to view the brand favorably.

You need to make it easy for your target customer to psychologically “get you” so they engage with you and your message positively. They need to visually register and emotionally identify with the physical image or the “type” of person on the screen. We need to manage how you appear, so your audience doesn’t have to guess, or worse, jump to the wrong conclusion about you, because you’ll lose them.

As in life, you will be judged by your appearance and how you conduct yourself. Humans are genetically programmed to “like” attractive, healthy-looking people. Like it or not, good looking people are more likely to get your vote, get hired, get promoted, and get favorably treated by the justice system. There is also the “halo effect” where we automatically believe that good looking people have the traits of talent, kindness, honesty, and intelligence. This unconscious reaction makes us assume “good looking = good” or “What is beautiful is good” (APA Eagly, Ashmore, Makhijani, Longo 1991).

This may seem terribly unfair but there is good news. No matter what your genetic inheritance, Bianca will teach you special techniques to enhance your appearance, your voice, your age, and flatter your body type to increase your persuasiveness on screen.

With over 20 years of fitness, catwalk, fashion, and commercial modelling experience, Bianca will take what makes you unique, and show you how to present the very best version of yourself and maximize your on-screen presence.

Yes! You do Need to Sweat the Small Stuff

It’s often the little things that will undermine you. In order to be persuasive, you need to control the visual information you portray on-screen. It is the subtle things that many presenters overlook (or are unaware of) that can powerfully influence your viewers on a subconscious level, and impact your trust and credibility.

Human beings are subconsciously evaluating hundreds of pieces of information every second and making decisions without being consciously aware of it. They just “get a feeling” about a person, and then look for evidence to confirm that feeling.

No matter what your skill set, your target audience will have expectations about how an expert should look, sound, and behave in the context of your work. For example, if your airline pilot showed up to the departure gate with a poorly fitting uniform, untidy hair, disorganized carry on luggage, and an overly casual demeanor, these 1st impressions might give you a hint of doubt about their competence. You would hesitate. You would look closer to confirm whether or not you fully trust this person to be your pilot.

You will learn how to make this work in your favor. Create and present a persona that primes your viewers to see you as trustworthy and knowledgeable in your field. You will discover subtle tricks that will help you to instantly build trust and rapport.

Your audience will perceive you as a credible expert right from the outset, before you even say a word, and be ready to pay full attention to your message. If you make your persona one that they themselves would like to emulate, you have done your job perfectly.

In our time together you can choose from any of the following:

Whether you want to promote your thought leadership or increase sales of your products and services, you will learn how to go eye-to-eye, heart-to-heart, and toe-to-toe with the camera lens in a compelling, believable, and watchable way

Uncover The Art of On-camera Confidence

Bianca frequently coaches clients who have sensitive self-image or body image issues. Mostly, they are self-conscious about the way they look on video. They worry about looking older or aged onscreen. Or they have physical features they feel insecure or embarrassed about. A large number of clients are concerned about their body weight and reluctant to appear on video because of it. Some claim to, “Hate video because they are embarrassed by their weight”. They look at the videos and cringe with embarrassment.

With over 20+ years of TV/Film experience. Bianca has worked both in front of and behind the camera and has experienced first hand the verbal barbs of people with highly judgmental attitudes and harsh criticism, and knows the crushing impact it can have on your self-esteem. No wonder many people fear putting themselves out there!

But, it’s also where Bianca can teach you how to overcome and address any neuroses you have about “being judged”.  Her clients soon discover insider secrets, physique enhancing or minimizing techniques that will help you play up or play down certain features on-screen.

When you work with Bianca, you’ll also learn powerful ways to present and persuade with integrity and believability. You’ll identify and correct credibility killers like masking behaviors, inauthentic words, and expressions as well as incongruent mannerisms and micro-behaviors or “tells” that can undermine you.

There’s plenty of misleading advice online. Contrary to popular belief, 1st impressions are crucial on video. How you look, how you sound, and how you deliver your message can have more impact than the content of your message.

All your viewers see is what you put in front of them on the video screen. This gives you great power if you know what you are doing. On the flip side, it can also undermine you if you don’t know how to optimize the impressions you make on-screen.

Realize that you are a Continuous Transmitter

Your face and body language reveal your feelings to your viewers as they change from moment to moment at the rate of several thousand signals per second. Your audience picks up on your feelings, and Harvard research suggests that “how” you deliver your message is actually more important than the message itself.

Mirror neurons (special brain cells that were only discovered in the nineties) make us automatically empathize with the people we observe. For example, (dependent on how present you are) when someone smiles at you on the street, your mirror neurons generate an urge to smile back. When you see the fear on someone’s face, (more so with someone close to you) you'll unconsciously sense a level of anxiety or fear yourself. When you see someone who looks angry, you will on some level feel subtle forms of aggression, irritation, etc. You “mirror” what you see.

Whatever you are Feeling, Your Audience Feels it too!

Humans evolved this special ability over countless generations to help us determine friend from foe, and display the correct emotion to match the social situation. We don’t watch a person’s face and think about their intentions, our subconscious brains automatically tune into their feelings. When it comes to your video presentations, whatever emotion you are feeling, thanks to mirror neurons, your audience will automatically be feeling it too!

If you feel nervous and tense about appearing on camera, or your eye-contact with the lens is slightly off, your audience will be nervous and tense watching you. If you are using the wrong type of eye-contact on-screen you can appear emotionally disengaged, or aggressive, or even creepy!

Also, you cannot control how the viewer is going to watch your video. They can rewind, pause, zoom-in, go full-screen, or even study your face closely on a large screen if they want. The emotions you project on-screen will determine the extent to which people will trust you.

 Micro in-the-Moment but Macro On-screen

Without realizing it you can undermine your screen presence and authority. Yes, that involuntary elbow flare out each time the presenter speaks about pricing is a classic example of an unconscious “tell” which can trigger skepticism and doubt in your viewers’ minds. Micro in-the-moment but macro on screen.

Your voice, face, body, expressions, and energy all communicate the essence of who you are. These natural gifts are unique to you. If used well, they can help you present yourself and your message in a deeply compelling way when you speak with people in real life. However, on-camera, if any of these expressive instruments are blocked, poorly used, or underdeveloped, you’ll have out-of-tune instruments that can reduce the effectiveness of your messaging.

When we work together you can choose from any of the following:

Present an inspirational image to your viewers
No matter your age or body shape. We’ll create a customized checklist for you to follow every time you get on camera. The little things that will make a big difference in terms of how your audience will perceive you on a subconscious level

Get INSIDER secrets and techniques the trained TV professionals use
Command the screen in a masterful way. Having trouble, locking eyes with the lens? Tripping over your words? Dealing with a flat, lackluster, or wooden delivery? Get Bianca’s camera-ready, field-tested tools and best practices that will help you master your onscreen confidence

Overcome any anxiety-producing negative thoughts
Learn and apply Bianca’s “Green Room method” right before you appear on camera. Proven mindset techniques to squelch charisma-damaging negative self-talk, self-sabotaging behaviors, self-doubt, and insecurities. Overcome your inhibitions so that you can bring your “best self” to the screen, and your viewers get a true sense of you and your brand. You will quickly regain the right mindset to own the lens and shine on screen

Remember people feel what they hear. Hone in on your audible blind spots
The camera magnifies and heightens everything on-screen, including how your voice sounds. An irritating tone of voice will quickly turn-off your viewer. We are genetically wired to be repelled by audio irritations, and this can lead to your marketing message falling on deaf ears. Academy Award-winning actors are trained to use their voices in a way that resonates strongly with the audience. Bianca will help you overcome common irritating vocal nuances

Share your energy and excitement in a way that “clicks” with your target audience and message
Adopt acting congruence techniques that will help you to deeply engage the camera lens with greater warmth. Enhance your credibility and believability on screen by learning what to apply and what to avoid doing on camera for your specific messaging

Eliminate charisma crushing self-monitoring

WHAT YOU WON'T GETWHAT YOU WILL GETPEACE OF MIND
What YOU WON'T get is one of those ubiquitous, one size fits all, cookie-cutter “video content marketing” packages that are promoted online. They contain generic tips that are superficial at best and don’t really help you to improve your video presentations.
What YOU WILL get is an intimate, personalized coaching service that comes with the peace of mind of knowing you're in safe hands. You will get advice and coaching you need from a real-world operator with over 20 years of industry experience. Throughout her career Bianca has collaborated with 1000s of people from all walks of life, working with professionals at the top of their game, to total newbies. She has coached, observed, hired, cast, and managed actors, presenters models, and talent. Bianca has seen and experienced the nitty-gritty that happens behind the scenes, she knows firsthand that no one (no matter how beautiful, smart, successful, wealthy, powerful, or famous) wants to feel foolish in front of the camera. No one wants to be laughed at, rejected, or ignored. It takes a knowledgeable and caring approach to build people’s self-confidence and get the best out of them on screen.

You can be confident you are in the best hands. And you can be sure, that you've engaged a highly trained and skilled professional. Because... Bianca has worked in front of the lens as a professional model (she booked her first job aged 12) and is a trained screen actress and spokesperson. She has performed lead roles in short films, TV soap operas, high profile TV commercials, corporate videos, music videos, and radio commercials. Bianca has trained to a master’s level in both Meisner and Stanislavski acting techniques and has studied with high profile casting directors and acclaimed acting tutors.

In addition, Bianca has featured on Fitness and Lifestyle magazine covers and has featured regularly as a fitness model. She has modelled for fashion runways, events, and represented commercial products in fashion campaigns, print media, online media, and television. Bianca has booked high profile TV campaigns for consumer brands; Colgate, Nestle, Sanitarium, Wiltshire to list a few and was engaged in a lead role for Women's Refuge in a nationwide social awareness campaign, that later went on to win silver (New York Screen Festival).

Bianca has also worked behind the camera in TV/film production and TV advertising. She has managed talent in agency roles, evaluated the on-screen performance of thousands of individuals as part of a casting agency, and has worked in post-production edit suites as part of a TV advertising firm.

 Finally, Stop the Cringe Factor

If you cringe when you watch yourself on video... if you are self-conscious about the way you look... if your performance feels wooden and unnatural... if you want your videos to deliver better results…or you want to create videos that you will be proud to share every single time... then you have come to the right place!

Because...

You get to leverage Bianca's 20+ years of TV/Film industry experience in front of and behind the camera. You can feel safe that you are in the best hands because Bianca has the real-world skills to teach you how to present yourself on camera in the most effective way possible and help you avoid making the crucial (and all too common) mistakes that can undermine your success and detract from your personal brand.

We are the Industry’s Best-kept Secret
Get the peace of mind you need…

We are the industry's best-kept secret. If you're a Celebrity, VIP, Influencer, or a recognized industry leader, etc we tend to operate under NDAs (non-disclosure agreement) with our clients. We respect the public position that you are in and that you may have areas of concern that are sensitive in nature.

You will not get any testimonial pressure from us. We will not reference your likeliness, brand, or name in any way. We get it and we understand. We do however welcome and prefer private referrals.

Are you Introverted, Camera Shy, or a Diamond in the Rough?
Don’t worry we’ve got you covered…

When it comes to our coaching service I have your back. I get introversion because I'm highly introverted myself.

Don't worry, when we are together, it will be at your pace, quietly and efficiently. There’s no leaping out in front of you or getting you to do weird or wacky things on-screen in an attempt to change your natural style.

If you are extroverted, I've got you covered too.

Bring Your A-Grade-Self to the Lens

Unfortunately, most people are unaware of the unconscious mistakes they make on-screen. Errors that can undermine your on-camera presence, your delivery, your persuasiveness, or even the impact of your messaging and how it's received by your intended viewer.

  • They create a poor 1st impression before "hello"
  • They don’t film themselves in the most flattering way
  • The filming setup undermines their authority
  • Unconscious mannerisms undermine their credibility
  • They lack the knowledge and skills to adjust their presentation style for maximum on-camera effectiveness
  • They fail to deliver a clear message that compels the audience to act
  • Even if the message is carefully crafted and on point, the presenter’s on camera delivery lets them down...it seems to get lost in translation

"Presenting on stage is like a Surgeon operating with a scalpel.
Presenting on-camera is like a Surgeon operating with a laser."

You may be a brilliant public speaker who can confidently present in front of a live audience, but that does not mean that you will come across well on-screen. Presenting on camera is a very different skillset you must master if you want to win your audience over and compel them to take action.

An awkward, uncompelling “me too” video appeals to no one.

I can Help You Create Video Presentations That Deliver Results

Ditch all the guesswork, quit second-guessing yourself, and stop spiralling into those dark spaces of self-doubt, insecurity, and overwhelm.

Whether you are a business leader wanting to promote your business, or a thought leader wanting to educate your audience, I will help you bring your best on-camera self to the lens.

“Bianca Te Rito is the real deal, she has an innate sense of how to market your brand to your target audience, and use your best qualities to make your brand authentic.”
